We&#8217;ve also been moving a few things around here and there. A few of the character profiles have been disabled, that is because they will be appearing later in the series in <em>Song of the Sea<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Characters<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Several new characters have been added and a few characters have been expanded upon. We finally get a name to the King of Persia. We also see his sons, daughters, and wives. Four\u00a0other characters have been added, the Sultan, Sultana, and Princess of the Abbasids, as well as Amalric of Jerusalem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes to the Story<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Two Silver Ankhs<\/em> has been expanded from the original 89 strips\u00a0to a whopping 227 strips. Lots of changes here and there to get away from Telling and Not Showing.<\/p>\n<p><em>Princess of Persia<\/em> and <em>Lord and Lady\u00a0<\/em>have been combined into a single story, and a huge portion of\u00a0<em>Lord and Lady <\/em>is going to show up in<em> Song of the Sea.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Matriarch and Patriarch<\/em>\u00a0will no longer be its own story. It&#8217;s being combined with a later script in the\u00a0<em>Song of the Sea<\/em>\u00a0Series.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reference Material<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll be posting quite a bit of reference material for everyone to look at in the Character Profiles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Strips We&#8217;re starting back into production this coming week, with the first strips going to hit either late January or early February.
