Due to several recent events, Tales of Avalon will be making several changes.
- We will no longer be a monthly webcomic. We’re moving from being a webcomic to being a digitally published comic.
- What does that mean? It means that you will be able to get Tales of Avalon as 20 page comic issues (and possibly Graphic Novels) in PDF format or limited edition printed issues.
- Why? Because of the current upload schedule of one page a month, we will NOT be able to bring the series to a conclusion before Karl, Betsy, and TC die. It also allows Betsy to work on other projects while not having to rush to get new Avalon pages out.
- What will happen to the Website? The website will still be here. It will house all the information you could want to know about Avalon, however, the main stories will not be published here.
- So we’re leaving the webcomic business entirely? No. We’re not leaving it entirely. The website will be the exclusive place to find Avalon Side Story and History Comics, which will be taking the place of the Main Story Lines.
- So you’re turning the comic into a paid venture? No, Digital Copies of the comic will be free. The only thing we would charge for would be for Limited Edition Comic Book Prints which would be sold at conventions, Posters, T-Shirts, and other assorted merchandise.
- If that’s the case, will we ever get to see the next page? Yes and No. You won’t be seeing the original page that we wanted to do, rather, we’ll probably be posting a page from one of the History Comics.
- So what now? Right now, we’re working on getting 40 pages together so we can get the first digitally published issue out the door and start working on some of the Side Stories and History Comics.
- When will Tales of Avalon Issue #1 come out? We don’t have a set date for when it will be published yet, and it will be published under a different name: A Song of Sand and Fire: The Two Silver Ankhs #1. The stories will all be titled similarly, example: A Song of the Sea: The First Voyage of Sinbad #1, et cetera.
