Early Life

Childhood

Alim was born the first son of a high ranking Nomarch. He grew up in the family’s home, being groomed to replace his father. While growing up, he spent a great deal of time with Het-Heru, becoming her best friend. He was raised to believe that jackals and lions were the pinnacle of nobility, and that other races were inferior.

Adolescence

At age fifteen, He was arranged to marry Het-Heru, a marriage that would only strengthen both family’s power blocks. The arrangement was well accepted by both Alim and Het-Heru. The two began spending more and more time together, planning out their lives. However, when he was eighteen, Het-Heru’s parents broke the agreement with Alim’s father, and married her to Runihura. This event angered him so that he entered the priesthood, a decision that angered his father.

Relationship with Het-Heru

Alim took the dissolution of his betrothal quite hard. He kept in touch with Het-Heru, learning that the Pharaoh still had great feelings towards Dalila. This knowledge only caused him even more anger, believing that Runihura was not fit to rule.
