Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Abdallah – Consolodated the Abbasid power base in the 630s CE in Arabia.
Abu Muslim Abd al-Rahman ibn Muslim Khorasani – Lead an open revolt against the Umayyad Caliphate in 747 CE and won. He founded the Abbasid Sultanate in 750 CE, and committed fratricide against his brother to secure the throne.
Abu Ja’far Abdallah ibn Muhammad al-Mansur – Moved the capital from Damascus to Baghdad.
